Bank Street Whiskey Bar
When you have the privilege of designing and decorating a space within a 1902 building that has its original flooring, brick walls, and coffered tin ceiling, you do it! On this project, we needed to maximize space while complimenting the original details that were already there. Throughout the project, it evolved and grew while we commissioned a local artist to create one of a kind paintings, added a stage for musicians with handmade cast iron railings fitted from the early 1900’s, swapped the mahogany bar top out for a custom brass bar top, and retrofitted an antique church confessional into the backbar. We worked to take our client’s ideas and create a space that fit with the history of the building, celebrates the quaint community it’s in, and gives patrons a memorable experience.
